Life, Art, Motion: Welcome to Dina Marie

I believe every person has a unique view of the world. I believe every part of life is beautiful if you know where to look. I believe art can capture the essence of something—the unique identity that defines it.

This is why I love photography.

It gives me a way to express my view of the world. It allows me to convey an emotion to others and temporarily bring them to a different world. My goal as a photographer is to bring people out of the mundane physical reality, if only for a moment, and convey a small piece of the beauty of the world around us.

As an interior designer, my belief is that art doesn’t just exist for its own sake. It’s actually part of the broader scope of life. It helps create a mood, an environment and a space. Art is part of living. It’s integrated into the world around us and helps make existence a brighter, happier place.

All of my images are taken with this idea in mind. They’re for projects. They’re for use.

When I shoot an image, I want to create artwork I would personally like to use in one of my own design projects. I don’t want to create static images—I want motion and drama. I don’t want literal—I want abstract. I want something that invites the participation and involvement of the viewer. I want to excite someone.  I want images which add texture, life and drama to a space without overpowering it or being distracting.

I’m happy to announce the launch of my updated website. I’ve greatly expanded my galleries, added information to help visitors and am including this blog, where I’ll be regularly adding new images and updates about the company.
